The Rafale is a twin-engine delta-wing multi-purpose fighter developed by the French Dassault Aircraft Manufacturing Company. Its main purpose is to replace the French Air Force's "Jaguar" series attack aircraft and the French Navy's F-8 "Crusader". Fighter, the first test flight of the prototype was successful in April 1986, and the first production model rolled off the production line and entered service in the army at the end of 1998. The Rafale family includes 3 different models, and the Rafale M is a carrier-based type.
